JOB DESCRIPTION Position Title: Plant Finance Controller Function: Finance & Accounts Reporting To: Corporate Finance Head / CFO Location: Comibature – Tamil Nadu Company: One of the Largest Global Indian Corporate Industrial Groups with more than 4000 Cr annual turnover with multi locational manufacturing Plants across India. Role Purpose The Plant Finance Controller is responsible for managing and controlling all financial activities of the manufacturing plant. The role ensures financial integrity, cost control, statutory compliance, and strategic financial support to plant operations in alignment with corporate policies and business objectives. Key Responsibilities 1. Financial Control & Accounting: • Overall responsibility for plant-level financial accounting and reporting • Ensure timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closures 2. Manufacturing Costing & Profitability: • Oversee product costing, standard costing, and variance analysis • Drive cost optimization and continuous improvement initiatives 3. Budgeting, Forecasting & MIS: • Lead preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts • Prepare and present MIS reports to plant and corporate management 4. CAPEX & Working Capital Management: • Evaluate capital expenditure proposals and conduct financial feasibility analysis 5. Statutory Compliance & Audit: • Ensure compliance with applicable laws including GST, Income Tax, Companies Act, and other statutory requirements 6. SAP & Systems: • Ensure effective use of SAP (FICO module) for financial reporting and controls 7. Stakeholder Management & Leadership: • Act as finance business partner to Plant Head and Operations team
