Job Description Role Summary We are seeking a highly skilled PostgreSQL Developer with strong database engineering expertise and working knowledge of SQL Server, .NET, and Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain high-performance database systems while contributing to scalable web applications and cloud-native solutions. This role demands a balance of deep DB skills and modern application/cloud development. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain PostgreSQL and SQL Server database schemas, stored procedures, functions, and complex queries • Optimize database performance, ensure data integrity, security, and availability • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for automated builds, testing, and deployments • Develop and maintain backend and full-stack applications using .NET Core / .NET Framework, C#, ASP.NET, and Web APIs • Design and implement cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure • Work with Azure services including App Services, Azure Functions, Storage Accounts, and Key Vault • Collaborate with application, DevOps, and cloud teams to ensure scalable and reliable solutions • Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and production support Mandatory Skills • Strong hands-on experience with PostgreSQL (advanced SQL, performance tuning, indexing, stored procedures) • Working experience with SQL Server • Strong development experience in .NET Core / .NET Framework, C#, ASP.NET, Web API • Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services (App Services, Functions, Storage, Key Vault) • Solid understanding of application security, performance, and scalability Desired / Good-to-Have Skills • Experience building full-stack applications • Exposure to cloud-native architecture and microservices • Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and basic Kubernetes exposure • Experience with monitoring, logging, and performance tools in Azure • Understanding of DevOps and Agile practices.
