As a Procurement Specialist at our company, your role involves closely interfacing with departmental heads to understand their procurement needs and requirements. You will assist the HOD in strategizing for Non-Medical equipment, consumables, and stores. Your responsibilities will include working with departments for vendor evaluation, preparing cost estimates, releasing requests for quotation, and conducting vendor qualification assessments. Additionally, you will be involved in negotiating contracts, managing purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery of procured items. Key Responsibilities: - Interface with department heads to ascertain procurement needs - Assist in strategizing for Non-Medical equipment and consumables - Work with departments for vendor evaluation - Prepare cost estimates and release requests for quotation - Conduct vendor qualification assessments - Negotiate contracts and manage purchase orders - Ensure timely delivery of procured items - Monitor procurement dashboards for operational performance levels - Report vendor performance and compliance with SLAs - Develop and manage vendor relationships - Uphold ethical values in procurement operations - Liaise with taxation departments for necessary documents - Use technology for operational efficiency and cost control - Attend interdepartmental meetings and perform assigned responsibilities Qualifications Required: - Prior experience in procurement, vendor management, and contract management - Knowledge of supply chain management and inventory management - Familiarity with healthcare regulations and purchase order processing - Strong communication and negotiation skills - Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams - Proficiency in using technology to improve transparency and efficiency.
