Professional Summary Strategic leader with over 10 years of experience in the textile industry, specializing in product lifecycle management (PLM) from conceptualization and raw material sourcing to final product delivery. Expert in translating fashion trends into profitable and scalable collections, ensuring the highest standards of quality and operational efficiency. Proven track record in coordinating multidisciplinary teams (design, procurement, and production) and managing relationships with domestic and international suppliers. Key Responsibilities • Collection Planning: Define and manage the critical path for development to ensure samples and final production meet market deadlines. • Raw Material Research: Source and select fabrics, yarns, and trims that align with design aesthetics and cost constraints. • Profitability Analysis: Develop detailed cost sheets and ensure product development stays within projected profit margins. • Sampling Supervision: Lead the prototyping process, from initial pattern making to the Pre-Production (PP) sample, ensuring perfect fit and construction. • Sourcing & Supplier Management: Negotiate with global and local vendors to optimize lead times and secure competitive pricing. • Technical Specification: Establish quality standards and detailed technical packages (Tech Packs) to minimize production errors. Core Competencies • Collection Management: Balancing core vs. fashion styles within a collection. • Textile Engineering: In-depth knowledge of fibers, knitting/weaving processes, and garment finishing. • Costing & Budgeting: Budget optimization and contribution margin improvement. • Quality Control: Oversight of textile lab testing (shrinkage, color fastness) and garment fitting. • Agile Methodologies: Implementing workflows to reduce Time-to-Market. Technical Skills • Experience designing fabric and developing products. (Required) • Software: Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle), PLM software, Adobe Illustrator, and 3D Design tools (CLO 3D, Optitex). • Languages: Professional Working Proficiency in English. Technical Requirements • Relocation Required • Fluent in English (Spanish is a plus)
