Client Background Our client is a healthcare technology company building AI-first products that sit at the intersection of engineering velocity, customer value, and automation. The Product Engineer sits at the intersection of engineering speed and customer value. You will build the systems and automation that dramatically accelerate our product development lifecycle. Your mission is to minimize the time from validated customer need to high-value, released product, ensuring that every engineering effort is purposeful and measurable. Build automated prototypes to test assumptions rapidly. • You will own and automate the entire product development cycle, codifying the principles of the Product: • Identify bottlenecks from ideation to deployment, and develop tools, agents, and frameworks to eliminate them. This includes automating Feature Request collection and generating draft User Stories from research transcripts. • Convert user research and market analysis into actionable engineering specifications with measurable success metrics. Ensure development tasks align with User Stories and Detailed User Interactions. • Collaborate with Product Managers on acceptance criteria, prototypes, and validation. This includes UX Flow Testing with mock data, validating prototypes, and maintaining UX consistency across the application. You thrive in fast-moving environments and are passionate about engineering velocity. Required Experience & Qualifications We are looking for Senior talent (5+ years experience) with a strong track record in product engineering: • Product Company Experience: 1+ year in a product-focused company within the last 3 years. • Healthcare Domain Knowledge: At least 6 months of experience with healthcare data, including wearables, diagnostics, or medical records. • Open-Source or Writing: Degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical expertise. • Proven experience taking a product from concept to launch. • Data Literacy: Comfortable defining and analyzing metrics (A/B testing, engagement, conversion). • AI Native: Experience using AI agents to write code and articulate limitations. Bonus: Background as a Product Manager with engineering experience or vice versa, particularly focused on software products.
