About the job
Are you interested in building products that solve real business problems? Do you want to work at the intersection of product strategy, user workflows, go-to-market execution, and customer success? SkillsCapital is hiring Product Interns who will operate as segment owners (mini CEO) – a role designed to give you end-to-end exposure to how modern products are built, marketed, delivered, and scaled. You will work directly with the founding team and take ownership of a specific customer segment, driving everything from product workflows to market outreach to client interaction. This is a high-responsibility, hands-on internship where you will learn what it truly means to function as a full-stack product operator in a fast-growing AI-powered startup. About SkillsCapital: SkillsCapital is one of the fastest-growing AI-driven platforms for global technology hiring. Our Talent Cloud enables companies to hire fully vetted, on-demand tech talent and teams across enterprise technologies such as SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft, Oracle, AI/ML, Cloud, and more. What You Will Work On: You will own a specific customer segment and your work will span product, GTM, demos, customer insight, and operational execution. Segment Readiness and Product Foundations: • Contribute to segment-specific positioning, messaging, value propositions, and use cases. • Help refine demo flows and product collateral tailored to your segment’s needs. • Participate in mapping user workflows and defining feature requirements relevant to your audience. Go-To-Market and Market Engagement: • Support LinkedIn-based awareness and engagement efforts by sharing insights, contributing to conversations, and maintaining a thoughtful presence in relevant communities. • Build and nurture a network within your assigned segment through intentional and professional outreach. • Research active opportunities and initiate contextual interactions with prospects. • Assist in the creation and execution of targeted email communication, including templates, sequences, and message testing. • Collaborate with the inside sales or business development team to ensure consistent engagement and aligned follow-ups. • Contribute to content creation, case studies, and segment-specific storytelling that reinforces SkillsCapital’s value. Product Demos and Customer Feedback: • Prepare and deliver product demonstrations tailored to each prospect’s needs. • Engage with prospective customers to understand their workflows and expectations. • Capture product feedback, identify areas of improvement, and translate insights into structured requirements. • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to refine features and workflows. Product Execution and Documentation: • Draft user flows, requirement summaries, and product documentation. • Participate in backlog grooming and prioritization discussions. • Support quality assurance cycles, including test case preparation and feature validation. • Assist in maintaining clean product documentation and release notes. Requirement Fulfillment and Operations: • Act as an account coordinator for your segment, ensuring timely fulfillment of client requirements. • Help maintain a ready pool of freelancers and consultants for rapid deployment. • Prepare operational reports, shortlists, match summaries, and delivery updates. • Identify gaps in operational workflows and propose improvements. • Support staffing for large team requirements such as S/4HANA upgrade squads or multi-module deployments. Who Should Apply: This role is ideal for students, recent graduates, or early-career professionals who want to build foundational skills across product management, go-to-market, business strategy, and customer operations — all in one role. You should apply if you: • Enjoy solving problems end-to-end — not just designing or writing specs. • Communicate clearly and think in a structured way. • Are curious, reliable, analytical, and willing to take ownership. • Are comfortable engaging with customers and prospects. • Are eager to learn how product, design, engineering, and GTM come together. • Can work in a fast-paced environment with direct access to founders. • Have used tools like Figma, Notion, Sheets, Miro, or similar (preferred but not required). A background in technology, business, or design is a plus but not mandatory. Why This Role is a Strong Opportunity: • Learn product management, go-to-market, and operations in a single role. • Work directly with founders on high-impact initiatives. • Build hands-on experience with enterprise workflows and AI-powered platforms. • Gain exposure to global clients and real business problem-solving. • Develop a strong portfolio of demos, workflows, experiments, and product releases. • Experience a high-trust, high-ownership startup culture. Compensation & Duration: • Paid internship with monthly stipend and performance-based incentives. • Remote role 3 to 6 months, with flexibility depending on academic schedules. • Potential pathway to long-term freelance or full-time opportunities.
