Role overview KnowDis.ai is building advanced AI-powered products focused on intelligent search, recommendations, and automation for enterprise and e-commerce applications. We are seeking a Product Manager — AI Products to drive product strategy, execution, and delivery for AI-driven search and recommendation systems. Key responsibilities • Product ownership & roadmap execution: Define and drive product roadmaps for AI-powered search and recommendation products, aligning business goals with technical capabilities and customer needs. • E-commerce discovery optimization: Leverage prior experience in e-commerce ecosystems to improve product discovery, ranking, personalization, and recommendation workflows that enhance engagement and conversion outcomes. • Requirement definition & execution: Translate business and customer requirements into detailed product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for engineering and AI teams. • Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with AI/ML engineers, backend teams, designers, and business stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of scalable product features. • Data-driven decision making: Define product metrics, analyze experimentation results, and drive continuous optimization through A/B testing and performance analysis. • AI product translation: Bridge the gap between AI research and product implementation by converting technical capabilities into clear product use cases and customer value propositions. • Customer & stakeholder engagement: Collaborate with enterprise clients and internal teams to gather feedback, understand use cases, and prioritize product enhancements. • Product lifecycle management: Own feature delivery from ideation to launch, including prioritization, sprint planning, release coordination, and post-launch performance monitoring. • Market and competitive analysis: Track industry trends in AI search, personalization, and commerce technology to inform product strategy and differentiation. • Documentation & communication: Maintain clear product documentation, roadmap communication, and alignment across leadership, engineering, and go-to-market teams. Required skills & experience • 4–5 years of product management experience, preferably within e-commerce, marketplace, or consumer technology platforms. • Direct experience working on product search, ranking systems, recommendation engines, or personalization features in large-scale e-commerce environments. • Prior experience at leading e-commerce or marketplace companies (e.g., Flipkart, Meesho, or similar high-scale platforms) is strongly preferred. • Strong understanding of user discovery journeys, catalog structures, search relevance, conversion optimization, and marketplace dynamics. • Experience working closely with engineering and data science/ML teams in shipping data-driven products. • Strong analytical mindset with experience defining product KPIs, running experiments, and interpreting performance metrics. • Ability to understand AI/ML concepts at a functional level and translate technical discussions into product decisions. • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work directly with founders and senior leadership. • Experience working in agile product development environments with strong execution ownership. • Comfort operating in a fast-paced startup environment with evolving priorities and high accountability. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline preferred. • MBA or postgraduate degree in Product Management, Business, or Analytics is a plus but not mandatory. • Demonstrated experience launching or scaling features impacting user discovery, engagement, or conversion metrics. What success looks like (first 6–12 months) • Clear product roadmap established for AI search and recommendation capabilities. • Successful launch of product features improving discovery relevance and measurable customer outcomes. • Strong collaboration established between product, AI engineering, and customer-facing teams. • Data-driven experimentation framework implemented to continuously improve product performance.
