About the job

As a Program Manager in the Banking / Fintech (BFSI) domain, you will be responsible for leading large-scale technology transformation and digital initiatives. Your role will involve managing complex technology development programs, ensuring financial oversight, and coordinating global delivery teams effectively. • *Key Responsibilities:** - Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale technology programs within Banking / Fintech domains such as Retail Banking, Payments, Lending, Digital Banking, Risk, and Compliance. - Define program roadmap, scope, milestones, and delivery strategies aligned with business objectives. - Manage multiple concurrent projects under a unified program governance structure. - Ensure alignment between business, technology, compliance, and operations teams. - Manage the full lifecycle of technology development projects using Agile methodology. - Oversee architecture discussions, solution design approvals, and integration planning. - Ensure adherence to security, regulatory, and compliance requirements within the BFSI domain. - Own program budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization. - Track program financials including CAPEX / OPEX management. - Provide periodic financial reporting and variance analysis to senior leadership. - Ensure ROI realization and cost governance across initiatives. - Manage and coordinate onshore and offshore development teams. - Drive collaboration across cross-functional teams including Development, QA, DevOps, Product, and Infrastructure. - Establish performance metrics and KPIs for delivery excellence. - Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement. - Act as the primary point of contact for executive stakeholders. - Conduct steering committee meetings and executive-level reporting. - Manage risks, dependencies, and escalations proactively. - Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks applicable to Banking / Fintech systems. • *Skills & Qualifications:** - **Experience:** 10+ years of overall experience in IT with significant experience in Program / Project Management. - **Methodology & Tools:** Strong experience implementing Agile methodology and MVP-driven delivery models. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Word. - **Core Competencies:** Strong financial acumen, understanding of banking systems, excellent stakeholder management, risk management skills, and strategic thinking abilities. - **Preferred Qualifications:** Experience in digital transformation initiatives, relevant certifications, exposure to cloud-based platforms, and regulatory environments. - **Soft Skills:** Exceptional leadership, negotiation, conflict resolution, and analytical abilities. Ability to operate effectively in high-pressure environments.
