CoE: Data & Cloud (DACL) JOB PURPOSE Responsible for tracking and reporting on all projects/products under the DACL CoE and flagging risks and planning for them. Responsible to execute DE governance mechanism for all projects/products to report against specific KPI. PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES Creating Business Value • Delivery projects with required business value, with quality and desired benefits to user. • Understanding high requirements from multiple sources and critically evaluating it, reconciling conflicts, disseminating high-level information into detailed and distinguished user requests. • Lead the identification and prioritization of business problems related to Digital Assets with senior leadership. • Validate Design Thinking workshops with stakeholders, enhancing possible solutions and challenges. • Deliver requirements for the project in collaboration with vendors/ Project team. • Drive the finalization of scope of work and timelines to ensure timely delivery of project. 2. Project Planning: • Define project scope and objectives based on identified business problems. • Allocate project resources efficiently, collaborating with vendors and third parties. • Analyze and mitigate project risks to ensure successful outcomes and ROI. • Manage the existing BAU projects pipeline of DACL. • Develop and maintain up-to-date documentation and reports, including project charter and work breakdown structure. 3. Project Delivery • Lead project planning sessions, set goals, determine timelines, define tasks, and outline necessary resources. • Organize regular status and review meetings to monitor project progress and identify roadblocks. • Facilitate change requests and inform all parties of impacts on schedule and budget. • Coordinate the development of user manuals, training materials, and other documents needed for successful implementation. 4. Risk Mitigation • Managing risks and issues along with mitigation plan. • Maintenance and upgradation of the MSIL Digital Project delivery governance model. • Ensuring learnings form various projects/products are constantly recorded and incorporated into actions. • Create presentations to senior and mid-senior management with varied levels of technical capabilities and awareness. 5. Basic Data & Cloud Understanding • Provide valuable inputs on enterprise data strategy for the company. • Charter the clear roadmap with the help of partners for data driven decisions utilizing existing data from internal and external sources. • Understand usability of data and provide meaningful roadmap for projects with efficient solutions. • Mine and analyze company database to drive optimization, improvement of use case development and business strategies. • Possess cloud understanding (Preferred Amazon Web Services (AWS)). SECONDARY ACCOUNTABILITIES CoE: Data & Cloud (DACL) Lead Project Management • End-to-end project management team which includes activity prioritization, monitoring, and timely delivery. • Drive technological implementations using new age tech. tools and cloud over data. MAJOR CHALLENGES • On time delivery and technical roadblocks. • Coordinating with multiple stakeholders. DECISIONS • Provide clear project roadmap with defined Minimum Viable Products (MVP) with value add. • Provide risk mitigation plan for any delivery roadmap. INTERNAL CLIENTS Role, you need to interact with inside the organization to enable success in your day-to-day work • Department SPOC – To understand business challenges and user concerns in project delivery. EXTERNAL CLIENTS Role, you need to interact with outside the organization to enable success in your day-to-day work • Partners: To monitor, coordinate and deliver high-end projects. 9. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Educational Qualifications • Minimum Qualification: B.E. or B.Tech. or bachelor’s degree with MBA (any specialization). • Certification in AWS, POPM and Scrum Master is desirable. b) Work Experience • 8 to 11 years of minimum work experience. c) Technical Capabilities • Project Management and Monitoring tools such as Jira preferred • Basic Data Lake & Data Structuring • Data Governance, Cloud Governance • Program Management related certifications • Good knowledge of the project and program management landscape, tools and methodologies • Strong domain knowledge with a Manufacturing company preferably. d) Soft Skills • Strong negotiation skills • Good communication skills • Eye for detail – Go getter. • Good analytic and problem-solving skills • Ability to multi-task • Problem Solver • Ability to work positively with a wide range of stakeholders. • Strong leadership and management skills • Good knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures • Creative and innovative problem solver.
