About the job
Job Responsibilities: • Independently leads projects of various complexity and works under supervision for programs targeted for new technology and markets by following the stage gate development process. • Leads Scope Planning Sessions to collaboratively develop standardized timelines for projects. • Leads formal weekly team meetings & communication methods that drive project execution & completion. • Guides cross-functional teams to work seamlessly across boundaries of company, culture, and geography for successful project execution. • Responsible for delivering key PMO KPI’s of project timing, cost, quality, and budget. • Partners with Brand Marketing to define project scope & design. • Monitors and reports status of project progress and risks to upper management. Communicates project expectations, plans and status to the project team members, upper management, and other stakeholders in a clear and concise fashion. • Participates in post launch audit output evaluations to recommend advancements for continuous improvement of project execution practices. • Identifies, negotiates, and supports the resolution to issues within cross-functional teams. • Maintains documentation as required by the stage-gate development process.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical / chemical / polymer engineering or management
- 3-5 years of experience in product development and project management in automotive, manufacturing or consumer products industry
- Demonstrated familiarity with packaged goods manufacturing processes and supply planning
- Proficient in project management software tools like Microsoft Project or Primavera
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
Preferred Technologies
