Key Responsibilities: Project Planning & Design: • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies. • Collaborate with engineering teams to review designs and ensure feasibility and compliance with relevant codes and standards. • Conduct site surveys and assessments to gather necessary data for project planning. • Prepare and manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, and technical specifications. Project Execution & Management: • Oversee the installation of solar PV systems, including module mounting, wiring, inverter installation, and other related activities. • Manage and coordinate subcontractors, ensuring their work meets quality standards and project timelines. • Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and proactively address any issues or delays. • Conduct regular site meetings to review progress, discuss challenges, and ensure effective communication among team members. • Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures on project sites. Commissioning & Handover: • Oversee the commissioning of solar PV systems, ensuring proper functionality and performance. • Conduct testing and inspections to verify compliance with industry standards and regulations. • Prepare and submit all necessary documentation for project closeout and handover to the client. • Provide training to clients on the operation and maintenance of the solar PV systems. Financial Management: • Manage project budgets and track expenses, ensuring projects are completed within allocated resources. • Prepare and submit regular project reports, including financial updates and progress summaries. • Identify and implement cost-saving measures without compromising project quality. Client Relationship Management: • Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns. • Ensure client satisfaction by delivering projects on time and to their expectations. Continuous Improvement: • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices in project management. • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in solar technology and installation techniques. Pre-Requisites: • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field) or equivalent experience. • Must have Experience in PLC Software; Robot arm programming as a Project Manager in the solar industry, specifically in installation and commissioning. • Strong understanding of solar PV systems, including design, installation, and commissioning processes. • Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations related to solar installations.
