Role: Project Manager Industry: Automotive/IIOT/Industrial Automation Location: Gurgaon Experience: 4+Yrs CTC: 8-9 LPA We are looking for a Assistant Project Manager with hands-on experience in industrial/automotive manufacturing environments to execute PAN-India IIoT solution implementation projects. The role involves end-to-end project execution after PO receipt and sales handover, ensuring timely delivery, customer satisfaction, and commercial compliance. The candidate should be a techno-commercial professional capable of managing customer expectations, site activities, project schedules, and financial follow-ups. --- Key Responsibilities 1 Project Execution & Delivery • Take over projects post Purchase Order (PO) handover from the Sales team. • Plan, execute, monitor, control, and close IIoT implementation projects across PAN India. • Ensure adherence to project scope, timelines, cost, and quality commitments. • Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, software, procurement, solution sales, installation and commissioning) and external stakeholders. 2 Customer & Site Management • Act as the single point of contact for customers during project execution. • Conduct regular customer meetings and share Minutes of Meeting (MoM). • Handle customer communication, issue resolution, escalation management, and problem-solving at site. • Manage site activities including installation, commissioning, testing, and handover. 3 Planning & Scheduling • Prepare detailed project schedules, execution plans, and Gantt charts. • Track milestones and project progress; highlight risks and mitigation plans proactively. • Ensure optimized utilization of resources and manpower. 4 Material & Logistics Management • Plan and coordinate material requirement, dispatch, and delivery as per project timelines. • Coordinate with procurement and vendors to avoid delays at site. 5 Commercial & Financial Coordination • Track project commercials including invoicing milestones. • Follow up with customers for invoices, payments, and closures. • Support internal finance teams with required project documentation. 6 Documentation & Reporting • Maintain complete project documentation including schedules, reports, MoMs, and closure documents. • Share regular project status updates with internal management. --- Required Skills & Competencies • Strong understanding of IIoT / Industrial Automation / Continuous Manufacturing systems. • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer-handling skills. • Proven ability in problem-solving, issue resolution, and escalation handling. • Good working knowledge of project management tools (MS Project, Excel, or equivalent). • Ability to manage multiple projects and travel extensively across India. --- Educational Qualification • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering: o Electronics & Communication o Mechanical / Instrumentation --- Preferred Experience • Experience in manufacturing set up and plants. • Exposure to IIoT / Automation deployments. • Prior role as Project Engineer in industrial setups. ---
