Position: Project Manager-cum-Office Supervisor Organization: JAN SAHBHAGI KENDRA Location: Garhwa, Jharkhand Application Deadline: 25th December 2025 Employment Type: Full-Time About the Organization Jan Sahbhagi Kendra, established in 1996, is a non-profit organisation working in Garhwa, Jharkhand on rural development, watershed management, livelihoods, child protection, financial literacy, and community empowerment through projects supported by NABARD, JSWM, and other government agencies. Role Overview The Project Manager-cum-Office Supervisor will be responsible for managing project activities, coordinating with stakeholders, ensuring project efficiency, and handling basic office administration to support the smooth functioning of the organisation. Key Responsibilities Project Management • Assist in planning, implementation, and monitoring of project activities • Coordinate with field staff, community members, and partner organizations • Prepare project reports (monthly/quarterly/annual) • Maintain project data and documentation • Support in organizing workshops, training sessions, and meetings Office Administration • Handle routine office tasks such as filing, documentation, and correspondence • Manage phone calls, emails, and visitors • Maintain office inventory and supplies • Assist in preparing invoices, bills, and basic accounts (cash book entry, etc.) • Support senior staff in administrative tasks Qualifications & Skills • Minimum education: Graduate (BBA, B.Com, MBA, M.Com or other relevant degrees preferred) • Experience: 0–3 years (freshers may also apply) • Good communication skills (English proficiency desired) • Computer proficiency (MS Office, email, data entry) • Ability to maintain records and prepare reports • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities • Knowledge of accountancy • Willingness to travel to project/field locations Preferred Qualities • Experience in NGO or community-based projects • Understanding of local issues and rural communities • Ability to work independently and within a team • Presentation skills for meetings (English preferred)
