Project Manager – Manufacturing (Rolling Mill Machinery) Reports to: Managing Director/Operations Head Salary : To be Discussed Location : Faridabad, Haryana Position Overview The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, and effective cross-functional coordination. The role requires strong project planning, documentation, and communication skills to manage interactions with Production Head, Purchase, Store, PPC Manager, Industrial Engineering Manager, as well as the Store and Logistics teams for dispatch scheduling. Key Responsibilities • Lead and supervise all ongoing and upcoming manufacturing projects. • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations. • Document project progress, key milestones, and risk mitigation actions. • Coordinate and communicate regularly with: Production Head (for schedules, capacity, and technical issues) Purchase (for material procurement and vendor follow-up) Store (for inventory management and material availability) PPC Manager (for production planning and control alignment) Industrial Engineering Manager (for process improvements and efficiency) Logistics Manager (for scheduling and coordinating dispatches) QC (for inspections, compliance, and quality assurance) • Monitor project budgets, costs, and resource utilization. • Prepare regular project status reports and present updates to senior management. • Identify and resolve project bottlenecks or conflicts across departments. • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards. • Drive continuous improvement in project management practices. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (preferred). • 5+ years’ experience in project management within rolling mill industry. • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and cross-functional teams. • Excellent documentation, planning, and organizational skills. • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities. • Familiarity with ERP/project management tools is an advantage.
