Job Description :- Project Sales Manager – Institutional / Projects (Construction & Building Materials) Full-time Spartek Group – Chennai / South India (Extensive travel required) Reporting To: Business Head – Projects / National Sales Head Role Purpose To build and grow Spartek Group’s institutional and project sales by developing strong relationships with builders, architects, consultant...s, EPCs, infrastructure companies, and government agencies, and by actively converting specifications and project opportunities into sustained business. This role is meant for a hunter–builder, not an order processor. Key Responsibilities Project & Institutional Sales Identify, pursue, and convert large construction and infrastructure projects across South India. Develop and manage strong working relationships with: • Builders and developers • Architects and design consultants • PMC / EPC companies • Government bodies and PSUs Ensure Spartek products are specified, approved, and adopted in projects. Pipeline & Opportunity Management Build and manage a robust project pipeline using CRM and digital tools. Track opportunities across the full lifecycle: Specification → Tender → Order → Execution → Repeat Business Forecast revenues accurately and update the pipeline on a weekly basis. Technical & Commercial Coordination Work closely with technical, operations, and service teams to ensure: • Right product selection • Timely approvals, samples, and documentation • Smooth site execution and handover Protect pricing, margins, payment terms, and commercial discipline. Market Development & Visibility Map key influencers and decision-makers in the assigned region. Organise product presentations, technical workshops, and site demonstrations. Represent Spartek Group at industry forums, expos, and professional events.
