Proxy Voting Analyst

Job Description: Your Team: The Proxy Voting & Governance team, part of Invesco’s Stewardship organization is seeking a detail oriented and analytical Proxy Voting Analyst based in Hyderabad. This role will be responsible for supporting Invesco’s proxy voting process, analyzing and interpreting proxy voting data and creating reports in compliance with regulatory and client requirements, while also providing insights to inform proxy voting trends and business decisions. Your Role: • Proxy Voting Process: Understand the nuances of proxy voting process in Invesco and support all the proxy voting activities within Invesco • Data Analysis and Interpretation: Analyze proxy voting data to identify trends and insights as well as produce Voting statistics. • Reporting: Develop and maintain reports and other visualizations to represent findings using tools like Excel and other data visualization software. Produce and distribute proxy voting reports and analysis to internal and external stakeholders. Respond to internal and external requests for proxy voting data and statistical information, including RFP and due diligence requests. • Communication and Collaboration: Present data, statistical information and analysis to stakeholders, and collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities to scale reporting capabilities. • Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to data collection, analysis and reporting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. • Maintain comprehensive documentation for all proxy voting & reporting processes. The Experience you bring: • 1-3 years of experience in Capital Markets domain, preferably in Asset Management Industry • Passing any level of CFA would be added advantage • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities • Proficiency in data analysis tools, such as SQL, Excel, Python, R, and data visualization software, is typically required. • Understanding proxy voting and corporate governance is a plus. • Ability to communicate findings clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Understanding of data quality, data governance, and data security principles. Academic Requirements: • Master’s degree in finance, or related field.
