Role Objective To manage procurement activities of the organization by ensuring timely purchase of materials, spare parts, equipment, fuel, and services required for logistics operations at the most competitive price while maintaining quality standards. Key Responsibilities 1. Procurement Planning · Identify purchase requirements based on operational needs of logistics equipment such as Reachstackers, trailers, trucks, forklifts, etc. · Prepare purchase plans in coordination with operations, maintenance, and accounts teams. 2. Vendor Management · Develop and maintain a reliable vendor database. · Identify new suppliers and negotiate best commercial terms. · Evaluate vendor performance regularly. 3. Purchase Process Management · Floating enquiries and obtaining quotations. · Conducting comparative analysis of quotations. · Finalizing vendors based on price, quality, delivery time, and reliability. · Issuing Purchase Orders (PO) and ensuring proper documentation. 4. Cost Control & Negotiation · Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules. · Ensure cost-effective procurement without compromising quality. 5. Inventory Coordination · Coordinate with stores and SITE maintenance teams to maintain optimal stock levels. · Avoid overstocking or shortage of critical spares and consumables. 6. Compliance & Documentation · Ensure all procurement follows company policies and audit requirements. Maintain proper records of quotations, approvals, purchase orders, and invoices. Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce / Engineering / Supply Chain Management • 5–10 years experience in logistics, transport, infrastructure, or equipment-based companies Required Skills • Vendor negotiation & relationship management • Cost analysis and budgeting • Knowledge of logistics equipment spare parts • Strong coordination and communication skills • Proficiency in MS Excel / ERP / Purchase software 📩 Interested candidates can share their resumes at: ektahr@ektaenterprises.net
