Python Backend Developer

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Python Backend Developer join our dynamic team. Technical Skills & Qualifications: Job Title : Python Backend Developer - Data & AI Systems Location : Bangalore Experience : 5 to 8 years Responsibilities • Design and develop robust server-side APIs for data, ML model access, and dashboard integration. • Integrate Python-based services with data pipelines and external sources. • Manage deployment, monitoring, logging, and scaling of APIs in cloud environments (AWS preferred). • Support data source integrations and deliver APIs for BI/data analysts and ML model consumers. • Write unit/integration tests and follow CI/CD best practices. • Work with Data Engineers and ML Engineers for model serving integration. • Write clean and reusable code that can be easily maintained and scaled. • Gathering functional requirements, developing technical specifications, and project & test planning. • Familiarity with on-call support and issue fix before SLA breach • Experience with Agile Development, SCRUM, or Extreme Programming methodologies. • Helps to align to overall strategies and reconcile competing priorities across organization. Required Skills • Python (Flask/FastAPI/Django REST), API development • Strong understanding of data structures and multithreading • Experience deploying services on AWS (Lambda, ECS, EC2) • CI/CD (Git, Docker, Jenkins or GitHub Actions) • Familiarity with Pandas/Numpy for light data manipulation • Good understanding of logging, security (auth/authz), performance tuning Preferred • Exposure to ML model inference/serving via APIs (ONNX, TensorFlow Serving, etc.) • Kafka/SQS or message queue experience for async pipelines • Experience integrating with BI/reporting backends. Educational Qualification: • Bachelors degree in Engineering or Masters degree. Exp : 5 to 8 yrs Mandatory Skills : Python, DSA, AWS, ML/AL Exp or POC exp Notice period : Immediate joiner or Serving notice period
