Our client is seeking a Python Backend Developer (5 - 8 Years Experience) to design, develop, and implement highly scalable and secure backend services for their AI-powered platforms. This remote position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, data scientists, and product managers, to deliver high-quality software solutions. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and implement scalable backend services using Python and Django/Flask. • Architect and develop complex features for AI-powered platforms. • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, adhering to best practices and coding standards. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software. • Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to enhance team capabilities. Required Skills: • Expertise in backend development with Python and Django/Flask. • Strong experience in building RESTful APIs and Websockets. • Proficient in cloud technologies, specifically AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda) and GCP (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions). • Advanced knowledge of databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB. • Expertise in tools like Git, Docker, and Linux. Preferred Skills: • Familiarity with basic Machine Learning concepts and experience with RAG and Vector Databases (e.g., Pinecone, ChromaDB). • Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions. Qualifications: • 5+ years of professional experience in backend development. • Demonstrated ability to take features from idea to production. • Strong problem-solving skills and structured thinking in ambiguous environments. • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
