About the Role Our client is looking for a Python Developer – Level I to support the development and maintenance of backend services for modern, AI-driven applications. This role is ideal for early-career engineers who have hands-on experience with Python, REST APIs, and relational databases, and are eager to grow within a high-performance engineering environment. Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain backend services using Python, Django, or FastAPI • Assist in designing and implementing RESTful APIs • Work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL/MySQL using ORMs • Contribute to building containerized applications with Docker • Integrate third-party APIs and assist in AI/LLM-based feature implementation • Collaborate with frontend engineers and cross-functional teams • Participate in writing unit tests, debugging issues, and supporting CI/CD workflows • Follow best practices around security, clean code, and performance Required Technical Skills • 1–2 years of hands-on Python development experience • Basic to intermediate experience with Django or FastAPI • Understanding of REST API development • Experience with SQL databases and ORM frameworks • Familiarity with Git, Docker, and modern development workflows • Basic exposure to JavaScript/TypeScript or modern frontend frameworks (preferred but not mandatory) Bonus Skills • Exposure to asynchronous Python (asyncio, async FastAPI routes) • Familiarity with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or event-driven systems • Basic understanding of Kubernetes, Terraform, or CI/CD pipelines • Knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, or authentication workflows • Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Who You Are A motivated early-career backend engineer with strong problem-solving skills, good communication, and a willingness to learn and grow within a modern engineering environment.
