About the Role: Grade Level (for internal use): 09 The Role: QA Engineer The Team: The selected candidate will be part of S&P Global Technology's Brokerage, Research, Sales & Trading team. QA Engineer is responsible for the functions and the Business to ensure the quality delivery of our products . scalable solutions by working directly with the Test lead & development team. The Impact: You will work with our global team of GMG and will primarily focus on the quality of our highly available applications by means of manual testing and building solutions to test applications. Your challenge will be reducing the 'time to market' for products without compromising quality, by using automation and innovation. You will use a wide range of technologies. Responsibilities: • Understand the requirements, specifications, user documentation, help files, and other project documentation to assure the quality of the products and tests to be developed. • Apply, design & develop automated testing strategies, and build automated scripts. • Execute test scripts, analyze failures, report defects & generate test execution reports. • Test Automation for various test scenarios and acceptance tests. • Collaborating with Test team and Software Developers to develop solutions. What We're Looking For: • Basic knowledge of C# and JavaScript. • Good Knowledge of OOP/OOD, Design patterns, and SOLID principles. • Good understanding of STLC, Testing Pyramid & SDLC. • Good to have any cloud knowledge, AI, and ML. • Good at team-building activities.
