Must have skills required: CI/CD workflows, GitHub Actions, react, visual diffing tools, E2E Automation, Frontend automation, monorepo structure, Playwright, Prisma 6, QA, Socket.IO Strategic Transformation Through Digital & Physical Innovation is Looking for: QA Engineer – Frontend Automation We’re looking for a sharp, execution-focused QA Engineer who specializes in automated front-end testing with Playwright. You’ll pressure test a modern, enterprise-grade stack, ship high-confidence releases, and safeguard the customer experience across our multi-tenant platform. Core Responsibilities: • Build and maintain robust Playwright end-to-end, integration, and UI regression test suites. • Architect scalable automated testing frameworks aligned to our monorepo structure (pnpm workspaces). • Validate Next.js 15 UI flows including server components, client components, Suspense, streaming, and App Router navigation. • Verify data flows across React Query, Redux Toolkit, and form validation through React Hook Form + Zod. • Partner with engineering to tighten CI gatekeeping, PR quality controls, and test coverage requirements. • Execute cross-browser/device testing at scale. • Own test data strategy, mocking tools, and stability of automation pipelines. • Collaborate with backend teams to validate API contracts, schema changes, Prisma models, and NestJS endpoints. • Stress test real-time experiences (Socket.IO) and job-driven workflows (BullMQ). • Drive defect triage, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement across teams. Required Skills and Experience: • Deep expertise in Playwright for UI, API, and E2E automation. • Strong experience validating complex React/Next.js applications. • Comfortable testing server components, App Router, streaming, Suspense boundaries. • Solid TypeScript 5.7 chops with strict typing. • Familiar with shadcn/ui, Tailwind 4 utilities, and modern component patterns. • Experience validating React Query state, caching behavior, optimistic updates, and cross-tab sync. • Hands-on with Redux Toolkit for UI state workflows. • Strong understanding of authentication flows using NextAuth.js (sessions, JWT, role-based access). • Familiarity with API validation and schema-first backends using NestJS 10, Prisma 6, and OpenAPI 3.0. • Ability to test real-time and async features: Socket.IO, Redis, BullMQ. • Experience operating inside Dockerized environments and AWS pipelines. • Comfortable working in monorepos using pnpm. Nice to Have: • Experience with visual diffing tools (Loki, Playwright trace viewers, or similar). • Security-focused testing mindset. • Familiarity with accessibility auditing tools (axe-core, Playwright a11y). • Performance profiling across the browser and network layers. • Knowledge of CI/CD workflows on GitHub Actions.
