Job Summary: The Regional Sales manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing regional sales teams, expanding market presence, and achieving revenue targets across the assigned region. The role involves strategic planning, team leadership, channel management, and key account handling. Key Responsibilities: Sales & Revenue Growth • Own and achieve regional sales targets (monthly, quarterly, yearly) • Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with company goals • Drive new customer acquisition and expansion of existing accounts • Monitor sales performance and take corrective actions when required Team Management • Recruit, train, and manage Regional / Area / Territory Sales Managers • Set KPIs, targets, and performance benchmarks for the sales team • Conduct regular reviews, coaching, and field visits • Build a high-performance, motivated sales team Channel & Partner Management • Develop and manage distributors, channel partners, and key retailers • Ensure partner engagement, productivity, and compliance • Resolve escalations and support partners to close deals Market Expansion & Strategy • Identify new markets, cities, and growth opportunities • Analyze competition, pricing, and market trends • Provide feedback to product and marketing teams for improvement Reporting & Process Compliance • Ensure CRM (Odoo / Salesforce / etc.) usage and real-time updates • Prepare regional sales reports, forecasts, and MIS • Ensure adherence to company policies and sales processes Key Skills & Competencies: • Strong leadership and people management skills • Excellent negotiation and closing abilities • Strategic thinking with execution focus • Data-driven decision-making • Strong communication and presentation skills • Hands-on experience with CRM tools Educational Qualification: • MBA / PGDM in Sales & Marketing (preferred) • Graduate with relevant experience may be considered Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): • Regional revenue achievement • Team productivity and target achievement • New customer acquisition • Market penetration and expansion • CRM adoption and reporting accuracy
