Our client, a leading multinational Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) company with a significant market presence, is actively seeking a talented and analytical Remote Supply Chain Analyst to join their global operations. This is a fully remote role, allowing you to contribute from anywhere in India. You will play a pivotal role in optimizing the client's supply chain efficiency, ensuring timely delivery of products, and managing inventory levels effectively. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of supply chain dynamics within the FMCG sector, and proficiency in data analysis tools. Responsibilities: Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports on key supply chain metrics, such as inventory turnover, lead times, and on-time delivery rates. Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and production teams to forecast demand and plan inventory levels. Optimize inventory management strategies to minimize costs while ensuring product availability. Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans within the supply chain. Monitor supplier performance and work with vendors to ensure timely and quality deliveries. Support the implementation of new supply chain technologies and processes. Conduct cost-benefit analyses for supply chain initiatives. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations related to supply chain operations. Prepare presentations and reports for management on supply chain performance and recommendations. Liaise with cross-functional teams to resolve supply chain issues and improve overall efficiency. Track and analyze transportation costs and logistics performance. Contribute to continuous improvement projects within the supply chain function. Research and recommend best practices in supply chain management for the FMCG industry. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Research, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain analysis, logistics, or operations within the FMCG industry. Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel (advanced), SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or similar. Strong understanding of supply chain principles, inventory management, and demand forecasting. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams remotely. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a remote environment. Familiarity with supply chain optimization techniques and software.
