The Reporting and Data Engineer is a key member of the Global Commercial Operations team, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining advanced reporting and analytics solutions. This role partners closely with commercial, service, and IT leaders to enable data-driven decision making, optimize business processes, and support the implementation of Commercial AI initiatives. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise in Azure Data Engineering concepts, Microsoft Fabric, and Power BI with strong business acumen and a proactive, collaborative mindset. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and Maintain Analytics Solutions: Build scalable, user-friendly reports and dashboards using Power BI, Excel, and other analytics tools. - Maintain and Build Data Platform: Work with Azure Data Lake, Microsoft Fabric, and apply principles of data Engineering and optimization. Maintain detailed documentation of report specifications, development scripts, and SOPs. - Support Commercial AI Initiatives: Collaborate with business and technical teams to implement, monitor, and optimize AI-driven commercial analytics solutions. - Design and Optimize Data Management Tools: Develop and enhance ETL tools for data extraction, transformation, and loading from business systems with focus on automations. - Ensure Data Quality and Integrity: Conduct validation checks, resolve data quality issues, and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and security protocols. Requirements: - 4–6 years in data engineering, reporting, and analytics. - Advanced skills in Power BI, Azure Data Engineering concepts, Microsoft Fabric, and advanced data modelling & visualization. - Strong knowledge of DAX, SQL, Python, VBA. - Experience with CRM (SFDC preferred), CPQ, and ERP systems (SAP preferred). Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and their application in commercial analytics is a plus. - Proven ability to lead complex reporting projects and mentor junior team members. - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, or related field; equivalent professional experience considered. - Fluent in English (spoken and written). - Travel: Up to 10%. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). - Experience with DBS Fundamentals (Visualization, SW, DM, VSM, TPI, Kaizen, 5S, PSP) preferred.
