Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and highly analytical Research Analyst to join our Research & Advisory Team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in equity, commodity, derivatives markets and Mutual Funds, with hands-on experience in technical and/or fundamental research. You will be responsible for generating actionable trading ideas, preparing research reports, tracking market movements, and assisting clients and internal teams with high-quality market insights. Key Responsibilities Market Research & Analysis • Conduct equity, commodity, and derivatives market research using fundamental, technical, and quantitative analysis. • Track macroeconomic indicators, global market trends, sectoral developments, and policy changes impacting markets. • Perform company analysis including financial statement review, valuations, ratios, and forecasting. • Study historical price charts and patterns for technical analysis, identifying trading opportunities. Report Generation & Publications • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly market outlook reports. • Release stock/commodity recommendations, intraday calls, positional calls, and investment strategies. • Draft research notes, sector studies, theme-based research, and event-impact analysis reports. Trading & Product Support • Provide actionable insights to dealers, RMS team, sales team, and clients. • Assist in developing investment models, algorithmic strategies, and back-tested trading systems. • Support ORCA platform enhancements with research-backed data inputs. Data Analytics & Tools • Use charting platforms such as Trading View. • Develop screening models, decision-support frameworks, and pattern-recognition indicators. Compliance & Governance • Ensure all research activities adhere to SEBI Research Analyst Regulations, Exchange Guidelines, and internal compliance policies. • Maintain research documentation, evidence, and audit records as per regulatory norms. Required Skills & Qualifications • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, Statistics, or related fields. • 1–3 years of experience as a Research Analyst in stockbroking or market research. • Strong understanding of NSE/BSE equity markets and MCX commodity markets. • Proficiency in: • Technical Indicators & Quantitative Models • Financial Analysis & Valuation Models • Derivatives: Options/ Futures, Greeks, Hedging, Volatility strategies • Strong analytical, presentation, and communication skills. • Ability to work under pressure and deliver high-quality insights in real-time markets. Preferred Certifications • NISM Series XV – Research Analyst Certification (Mandatory as per SEBI norms) • NISM Series VIII – Equity Derivatives • NISM Series I – Currency Derivatives • NISM Series XVI – Commodity Derivatives Key Competencies • Strong market intuition and analytical mindset • Detail-oriented with the ability to work on time-sensitive research • Strong presentation skills for internal meetings & client webinars • Ability to translate complex market data into simple insights.
