We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Research Analyst/Head to join our political consultancy firm specializing in data-driven campaign strategy, public opinion analysis, and policy advocacy. This role requires extensive travel, often on short notice, to conduct on-the-ground fieldwork and research crucial to our clients' success. Salary would be decided based on the last CTC. 📝 Key Responsibilities: • Design and execute comprehensive qualitative and quantitative research projects, including surveys, focus groups, in-depth interviews, and content analysis. • Analyze complex datasets, including electoral results, public opinion polls, demographic data, and socio-economic indicators, using statistical software (e.g., R, SPSS, Stata) to identify trends and actionable insights. • Monitor and analyze current political events, legislative changes, and domestic policy developments relevant to client mandates. • Develop predictive models and scenarios to forecast political, economic, and social trends. Fieldwork & Travel: • Travel extensively (up to 50-70% of the time) to campaign headquarters, field sites, and client locations. • Conduct on-the-ground fieldwork including organizing and moderating focus groups, conducting key informant interviews, and managing local data collection teams. • Provide on-site support to political campaigns, translating complex research findings into immediate, practical operational and communication strategies. • Establish and maintain a robust network of political contacts, sources, and experts in various regions. Reporting & Strategy: • Author clear, concise, and compelling reports, briefings, and presentations for senior management and clients, distilling complex findings into strategic recommendations. • Present research findings and strategy recommendations to clients and stakeholders, defending methodologies and insights with confidence and diplomacy. ✅ Required Qualifications: • Education: Master's degree (or equivalent experience) in Political Science, Public Policy, International Relations, Economics, Statistics, or a related field. • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in political consulting. • Research Skills: Proven expertise in both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies. Demonstrated ability to handle large datasets and proficiency with statistical analysis software. Travel: • Unwavering willingness and ability to travel extensively and frequently, sometimes under high-pressure conditions and for prolonged periods. Political Acumen: • Deep understanding of political systems, electoral dynamics, and current affairs. 🌟 Preferred Skills: • Prior experience managing a small team or coordinating field research logistics. • Demonstrated portfolio of published analysis, reports, or research papers.
