About the Role: We are seeking a Revenue Accountant / Accounting Operations Specialist to join our fintech operations team. This role goes beyond traditional Accounts Payable responsibilities and requires strong analytical, compliance, and reconciliation expertise. You will work closely with payment processors, lending operations, and revenue reporting teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, and au ... dit readiness in a fast-paced, SLA-driven environment. Key Responsibilities: • Manage end-to-end revenue accounting processes, including bank → processor → GL reconciliations. • Oversee merchant onboarding financial workflows, ensuring accurate setup and compliance with lending and payment operations. • Prepare and maintain audit-ready documentation for revenue and remittance reporting. • Perform loan accounting (principal, interest, fees, amortization) and ensure accurate application of non-cash accounting logic. • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve variances and discrepancies independently. • Monitor SLA-driven ticket queues and ensure timely resolution of financial operations tasks. • Support regulatory workflows including SCRA, bankruptcy, and chargebacks. • Work with tools and platforms similar to Moov, Repay, and accounting engines for transaction processing. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent preferred. • 3–6 years of experience in revenue accounting, payment operations, or fintech accounting. • Strong reconciliation and analytical skills with attention to detail. • Experience working with payment processors and accounting systems. • Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with financial modeling and reporting tools. • Knowledge of loan lifecycle accounting and compliance standards. • Ability to work in SLA-driven environments and manage high-volume workflows. Preferred Experience: • Background in fintech, lending, or payment servicing. • Exposure to merchant onboarding processes and embedded finance workflows. • Familiarity with audit standards and regulatory compliance in financial operations.
