Sales and Business Development Executive

We are a growing steel manufacturing business looking for a smart, well-spoken, and sales-driven professional to manage client relationships, drive sales, and coordinate commercial operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in the manufacturing industry, strong communication skills, and proficiency with business software tools. Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development • Generate and manage sales leads for steel products • Handle client meetings, calls, and negotiations • Prepare quotations, pricing, and follow-ups • Close deals and maintain long-term customer relationships Manufacturing & Internal Coordination • Understand steel products, grades, sizes, and applications • Coordinate with production, dispatch, and inventory teams • Ensure smooth execution of orders from inquiry to delivery Commercial & Reporting • Maintain sales data, order status, and pricing sheets • Prepare reports using MS Excel • Work with ERP / accounting software (Tally, SAP, or similar) • Handle basic documentation such as invoices, POs, and delivery schedules Required Skills & Qualifications • Experience in steel / manufacturing industry (mandatory) • Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills • Well-spoken and confident in dealing with customers • Proficient in MS Excel, Email, and Office tools • Familiarity with ERP / CRM software is a plus • Ability to work independently and handle pressure Preferred Candidate Profile • Background in industrial / B2B sales • Exposure to steel products, raw materials, or heavy industry • Commercial mindset with attention to detail • Organized, proactive, and result-oriented.
