Job Description: Sales & Business Development Manager (Industrial Equipment & Machinery Trading) Position Overview We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales & Business Development professional with 2–8 years of experience and a background in B.Tech Mechanical Engineering. The candidate will be responsible for driving sales and expanding business opportunities for industrial equipment and machinery catering to Steel and Power Plants across India and international markets. Experience in Pharma Machinery will be considered an added advantage. Key Responsibilities • Sales & Market Development • Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities in India and abroad. • Build strong relationships with clients in the Steel and Power Plant sectors. • Explore opportunities in Pharma Machinery to diversify business growth. • Client & Vendor Engagement • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to secure contracts. • Collaborate with vendors and partners to ensure timely delivery and quality standards. • Maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders. • Technical & Commercial Expertise • Understand technical specifications of industrial equipment and machinery. • Provide technical support and solutions to clients during pre- and post-sales stages. • Prepare proposals, quotations, and tender documents aligned with client requirements. • International Business Development • Identify and pursue cross-border opportunities in target markets. • Coordinate with international clients and partners for project execution. • Ensure compliance with export regulations and contractual obligations. • Strategic Contribution • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs. • Contribute to sales forecasts, business planning, and revenue growth strategies. • Report regularly on sales performance and pipeline development. Qualifications & Experience • Education: B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory). • Experience: 2–8 years in Sales & Business Development, preferably in Industrial Equipment/Machinery. • Added Advantage: Exposure to Pharma Machinery sales. • Strong technical understanding of mechanical systems and industrial processes. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. • Willingness to travel extensively within India and abroad.
