About the job

As a dynamic Sales Engineer with strong process engineering expertise, your role will involve driving project/technical sales for bare as well as skid-mounted process systems. By combining business development with deep process engineering knowledge, you will be able to engage with clients at a technical level while delivering commercially sound proposals. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading project and technical sales for systems and process equipment such as evaporators, dryers, extractors, heat exchangers, and distillation columns. - Developing and maintaining relationships with domestic and international clients across pharma and chemical markets. - Driving pre-bid activities, project estimation, and proposal building to secure new business. - Conducting technical meetings with customers. In terms of process engineering support, you will: - Analyze and understand client processes to design customized solutions. - Prepare PFDs, P&IDs, GA drawings, and techno-commercial proposals. - Oversee basic and detailed engineering for new installations and modifications. - Provide expertise in process optimization, intensification, and scale-up. - Conduct cost estimation of process equipment and collaborate with internal engineering, procurement, and project teams. Additionally, you will be expected to: - Maintain and build client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business. - Increase repeat business from existing clients. - Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline across all regions and sectors with regular follow-ups. - Lead indirect reports to align with process sales goals and ensure team success. Qualifications & Skills: - Education: B.Tech in Chemical Engineering (or equivalent). - Experience: 5 to 10 years in project/technical sales of skid-mounted process systems. - Strong knowledge of process simulation tools and expertise in process equipment. - Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to manage domestic clients.
