Location: Tiruppur Type: Full-time, In-Office Role Summary: As a Sales Executive you will be responsible for driving new business, managing sales cycles, closing deals, and building long-term relationships with clients in your territory (Tiruppur). You will work closely with product, marketing and customer success teams to position our solution, understand client needs, and deliver value. Key Responsibilities: • Drive student admissions for various programs by counseling and converting prospective leads into enrollments. • Conduct telephonic and in-person counseling sessions with students and parents to explain course offerings, eligibility, and benefits. • Achieve monthly and quarterly admission and sales targets. • Identify and convert institutional and B2B leads for EdTech products or services. • Conduct product demos, presentations, and webinars for prospective clients (students, colleges, or training centers). • Follow up promptly with leads generated through marketing campaigns, events, and referrals. • Maintain detailed records of inquiries, follow-ups, conversions, and feedback in the CRM system. • Collaborate with marketing to optimize lead generation and admissions campaigns. • Stay updated on product offerings, admission timelines, and market trends in education and EdTech. • Participate in on-ground promotional activities, education fairs, and partner visits as needed. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree (any discipline) – a plus if in Business, Education, or similar. • Proven sales experience (ideally 0-3 years) in B2B or B2C sales, preferably in EdTech or SaaS / technology solutions. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; regional language would be a strong plus. • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships and influence decision-makers. • Comfortable with fast-paced environment, meeting targets, managing territory & travel (within city/region). • Proficiency with CRM tools (for example Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft/Google Office suite. • Self-motivated, result-oriented, strong hunter mentality and ability to work independently. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience selling into educational institutions (schools, colleges, training centers) or knowledge of the education sector in India. • Familiarity with EdTech products, online learning platforms, LMS, certification programs, or similar. • Prior exposure to consultative selling, solution selling rather than only transactional. • Understanding of local education market dynamics in Chennai / Bangalore and ability to leverage local networks. Language preferred: Tamil, English
