Position Title: Sales Manager– B2B Packaging Location: Gurgaon Department: Sales/Account Management Reports To: Sales Director/Head of B2B Sales Job Summary: The Sales Manager for B2B Packaging will be responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with key clients within the packaging industry. This position requires an individual with strong sales expertise, the ability to understand customer needs, and a focus on providing tailored packaging solutions. The KAM will act as the main point of contact between the company and key customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction, retention, and growth in the B2B packaging sector. Key Responsibilities: • Account Management: o Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key business accounts in the packaging sector. o Serve as the main point of contact for assigned clients, managing communication and resolving any issues promptly. o Understand the unique needs of each key account and offer customized packaging solutions that meet their business goals. o Conduct regular business reviews with clients to assess needs and growth opportunities. • Sales and Business Development: o Achieve sales targets and objectives by identifying new opportunities within existing accounts and acquiring new clients within the B2B packaging market. o Collaborate with the marketing and product development teams to develop compelling product offerings based on market trends and customer feedback. o Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions in alignment with company policies. o Monitor and report on account performance, providing detailed analysis and forecasting. • Project Management: o Oversee the end-to-end process for packaging solutions, from initial design to production, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards. o Work closely with the operations and logistics teams to ensure that products are delivered on time and meet customer expectations. o Manage any packaging customization projects or large-scale orders to ensure smooth execution. • Market Analysis and Reporting: o Analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to adjust strategies and maintain competitive advantage. o Provide regular reports on account status, sales performance, and market insights to senior management. o Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of account management strategies and sales growth. • Customer Support and Service: o Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing queries, resolving complaints, and managing any service-related issues. o Offer post-sales support to ensure that packaging solutions continue to meet customer expectations. o Coordinate with the customer service team to handle product inquiries and returns. Required Qualifications: o Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Packaging Technology, or related field. A Master’s degree is a plus. • Experience: o Minimum of 5 years of experience in key account management, sales, or business development, preferably in the B2B packaging or related industry. o Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing key accounts. • Skills and Competencies: o Strong understanding of the packaging industry and its products (materials, machinery, sustainability). o Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. o Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). o Strong problem-solving abilities with a customer-focused mindset. o Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team. o Project management skills and the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously. o Analytical skills to assess account performance and identify growth opportunities.
