About the job

As a Sales Manager Key Accounts (South) India for Leica Biosystems, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing key account strategies to drive revenue growth for the current and 'next generation' range of HI, AS, and PI products. Your responsibilities will include: - Building strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers at key accounts and overseeing negotiations for major contracts, pricing, and service agreements. - Achieving sales targets from Key Accounts (KAMs) by ensuring cross-functional alignment to support key account needs. - Driving upselling and cross-selling of the product portfolio, analyzing key account performance, sales trends, and profitability to adjust strategies and identify new opportunities. - Using industry insights to refine key account strategy and maintain a competitive advantage. - Developing custom account plans with clear revenue, margin, and partnership goals, as well as forecasting long-term needs for mutual growth. Qualifications required for this role include: - 8+ years of sales experience, preferably in medical devices, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or life sciences, with 5+ years of key account management experience. - Deep expertise in building account plans, mapping stakeholders, and driving account growth with strong negotiation and relationship management skills. - Ability to develop and execute sales and key account strategies, with an understanding of market trends, customer segmentation, and competitive dynamics. - Proficiency in pricing, margin management, and profitability analysis, along with experience in developing win-win value propositions and contracts. - Proven ability to lead and motivate sales teams, work cross-functionally, and meet key account needs effectively. Additionally, it would be beneficial if you possess: - Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Science, Medical Technology, Business, or related field. - Minimum of 8 years of sales experience, preferably in healthcare or diagnostics industry, with knowledge of pathology products, laboratory diagnostics, and medical technologies. - Proven sales track record with excellent communication, presentation, analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills. - Proficiency in using SFDC, CRM software, Microsoft Office, and other sales tools. The role involves 50% travel within India, and you will have the opportunity to work remotely from home.
