About the job

We are seeking a seasoned Sales professional with strong international exposure in steel scrap selling across different geographies. The ideal candidate must possess deep market knowledge, strong industry connections, and a proven track record in high-volume scrap sales. **Key Responsibilities**: • Develop and implement effective sales strategies for steel scrap. • Identify, engage, and manage relationships with buyers. • Lead negotiations, pricing discussions, and closing of deals. • Track market trends, competitor movements, and price fluctuations. • Coordinate logistics, shipments, and all related documentation. • Maintain strong relationships with steel mills and key stakeholders. • Prepare monthly sales reports, forecasts, and market insights. • Ensure compliance with company policies, local laws, and environmental norms. • Collaborate with internal teams for invoicing, payments, and contract management. **Required Skills & Experience**: • 10+ years of experience in sales / marketing of steel scrap or metal scrap. • Strong understanding of pricing, global markets, and steel mills. • Proven experience managing high-volume scrap transactions. • Result-oriented with track record. • Strong product knowledge and domain expertise. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. • Ability to work independently and deliver strong business results. • Strong analytical skills and understanding of market dynamics. • Fluency in Bengali (mandatory) and proficiency in English. **Education**: • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. **Additional Requirements**: • Willingness to relocate and travel extensively. • Strong network among industrial buyers in SAARC countries.
