Area(s) of responsibility The SAP Bid Manager is responsible for managing the end-to-end bid process for SAP-related projects and services. This role ensures timely, high-quality proposals that align with client requirements and organizational standards. The Bid Manager collaborates with sales, delivery, finance, and technical teams to create competitive and compelling bids. Key Responsibilities Bid Management: Lead and coordinate the entire bid lifecycle from opportunity qualification to submission. Develop bid plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies. Proposal Development Prepare and review SAP solution proposals, including technical, commercial, and compliance sections. Ensure proposals meet client requirements and adhere to company standards. Stakeholder Coordination Work closely with sales, pre-sales, SAP consultants, and delivery teams. Facilitate internal reviews and approvals before submission. Risk & Compliance Identify risks in bids and propose mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with legal, commercial, and contractual obligations. Costing & Pricing Collaborate with finance and delivery teams to prepare accurate cost models and pricing. Client Interaction Engage with clients during the bid process for clarifications and negotiations.
