• *SCM Specialist** • *Job Description:** We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented SCM Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and evaluating potential suppliers to meet the organization's procurement needs, vendor management, and quote negotiation to secure cost-effective and quality goods or services. The Procurement Specialist will also be in charge of creating and managing purchase orders for the procurement of materials, goods, or services, monitoring inventory levels, tracking stock movements, and optimizing inventory to meet demand. Additionally, the role involves contacting vendors to confirm orders, negotiate terms, discuss pricing, and ensure timely delivery. The Procurement Specialist will address any discrepancies, delays, or quality issues related to purchase orders and work towards resolutions, monitor the status of sales orders, track shipments, and ensure on-time delivery. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment are essential for this role. • *Key Responsibilities:** Identify and evaluate potential suppliers to meet the organization's procurement needs. Manage vendors and negotiate quotes to secure cost-effective and quality goods or services. Create and manage purchase orders for materials, goods, or services procurement. Monitor inventory levels, track stock movements, and optimize inventory to meet demand. Contact vendors to confirm orders, negotiate terms, discuss pricing, and ensure timely delivery. Address discrepancies, delays, or quality issues related to purchase orders and work towards resolutions. Monitor the status of sales orders, track shipments, and ensure on-time delivery. Demonstrate strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. • *Qualifications:** Bachelor's degree Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management. Strong negotiation skills and vendor management experience. Proficiency in creating and managing purchase orders. Ability to monitor inventory levels and optimize stock movements. Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively with vendors. Detail-oriented with the ability to address discrepancies and quality issues. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and ensure on-time delivery. Willingness to work night shifts. Ability to work from the office as required.
