About the Role Our client is seeking a passionate and driven SDE1 – MERN Full Stack Engineer to build scalable, high-impact features for AI-powered Shopify applications. This role involves working across the full stack—developing backend APIs, merchant dashboards, and storefront integrations—while contributing to products used by thousands of global merchants. You will be part of a lean, fast-moving engineering team focused on shipping production-ready solutions that drive real business outcomes. Key Responsibilities Build and enhance features for Shopify apps such as bundle systems, discount engines, and promotion builders Develop and maintain backend APIs using Node.js and Express Create responsive and scalable frontend applications using React / Next.js Work on cart transformations and storefront integrations within the Shopify ecosystem Design clean, efficient, and scalable data models using MongoDB Debug and resolve production issues efficiently Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end features Maintain code quality through best practices, testing, and version control Required Skills 1+ Year of Experience Strong fundamentals in JavaScript Hands-on experience with React and Node.js Experience building and consuming REST APIs Understanding of asynchronous programming and data modeling Proven problem-solving skills (100+ DSA problems preferred) Minimum 6 months of practical experience in React or Node.js Active GitHub projects or deployed applications showcasing work Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code Nice-to-Have Skills Experience with the Shopify ecosystem Knowledge of Shopify Functions and Cart Transform APIs Familiarity with Theme App Extensions Understanding of Shopify Admin and Storefront APIs Experience working in startup or fast-paced environments Keywords MERN Stack, Full Stack Developer, React, Next.js, Node.js, MongoDB, Shopify Apps, REST APIs, JavaScript, DSA, Startup Engineering Hashtags #FullStackDeveloper#MERNStack#ReactJS#NodeJS#ShopifyDevelopment#StartupJobs#SoftwareEngineer#TechHiring#RemoteJobs#YMindsAI
