DEPARTMENT: FINANCE POSITION LOCATION: VADODARA, INDIA (On-Site) About the Role We are looking for a Senior Accounting Specialist to manage and ensure the accuracy of the company's revenue recognition and reporting processes. This role involves applying technical accounting guidance, performing reconciliations, and supporting month-end and quarter-end close activities while ensuring compliance with ASC 606 and internal accounting policies. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with cross-functional and US-based teams. Required Skills - Minimum 3 years of Article-ship experience (for CA Inter candidates) - Strong knowledge of revenue accounting and reconciliations - Advanced Excel proficiency - Experience with Oracle NetSuite (preferred) - Strong written and verbal English communication - Ability to work with US onshore teams - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Ability to work independently and collaboratively BEHAVIORAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES - Positive attitude and high on professional morale. - Ability to effectively work with cross functional teams. - Ability to manage competing priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment. - Must be multi-task oriented and able to work with frequent interruptions. - Ability to deliver quality work on tight deadlines, with strong organization and priority setting skills. - Self-motivated and able to work with little supervision. - Team Player with a professional attitude. Job involves supporting & coordinating with on-shore team based out of US offices, and hence requires flexibility to work in any shift and/or on Indian holidays as well. Key Responsibilities - Manage revenue accounting processes including contract review, billing, and revenue recognition. - Ensure compliance with ASC 606 revenue recognition standards. - Prepare and review monthly journal entries and account reconciliations. - Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities. - Analyze revenue results and identify variances. - Review contracts and determine appropriate accounting treatment. - Maintain revenue accounting policies and internal controls. - Assist with internal and external audits. - Prepare and update balance sheet reconciliations (AR, Unbilled AR, Customer Refunds, etc.). - Identify process improvements and automation opportunities. - Support ad hoc financial analysis and reporting requests. Qualifications - CA Inter (appearing for Finals) OR Qualified CA (Fresher) - Bachelor's / Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business - Shift Time - 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM, 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM, 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM, 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM
