Experience: 5 – 8 Years Work Location: India - Coimbatore/ Chennai - Hybrid Employment Type: Full-time Role Overview We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer / Lead AI Developer to build and enhance AI-driven applications. This is a hands-on role focused on developing, improving, and deploying practical AI solutions. You will work on LLM-based applications, RAG systems, and automation workflows, while contributing to system design and supporting a small team when needed. Key Responsibilities • Develop and implement AI solutions using LLMs and modern AI frameworks • Build and improve RAG-based applications for enterprise use cases • Work on data extraction and processing from documents (PDFs, images, structured data) • Design and develop APIs/services for integrating AI features into applications • Contribute to basic system design and architecture decisions for scalable AI solutions • Optimize models using prompt engineering or lightweight fine-tuning approaches • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver practical solutions • Support junior developers through guidance and code reviews Technical Skills • Strong proficiency in Python • Experience with LLM frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, or similar) • Good understanding of RAG concepts and implementation • Familiarity with vector databases (Pinecone, Milvus, or similar) • Experience building APIs (FastAPI/Flask) • Working knowledge of SQL and data handling • Exposure to cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, or similar) Nice to Have (Not Mandatory) • Exposure to agent-based workflows or automation systems • Basic understanding of model fine-tuning techniques (LoRA/QLoRA, etc.) • Exposure to multi-modal AI (documents/images) • Experience with MLOps or deployment pipelines • Understanding of classification or NLP use cases Soft Skills • Problem-solving mindset with focus on practical outcomes • Good communication and collaboration skills • Ability to take ownership and deliver tasks independently • Willingness to mentor and support team members Education • 5–8 years of relevant experience in software or AI/ML development • Degree in a relevant field or equivalent hands-on experience • Strong project or work experience is valued over academic background.
