Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Analyst to join our Public Health team. This role combines data analytics, applied statistics, secondary research, and strategy consulting. You will work closely with Foundation stakeholders and internal teams to: • Analyze complex datasets • Triangulate quantitative and qualitative evidence • Create insightful visualizations and projections • Translate analytics into decision-ready narratives for senior leadership Key Responsibilities: • Clean, structure, and transform data from various sources. • Perform descriptive and inferential analysis to extract actionable insights. • Conduct data quality checks and maintain documentation. • Translate analytical outputs into clear narratives for non-technical stakeholders. • Use statistical techniques for projections, scenario analysis, and sensitivity analysis • Build prediction frameworks and scenario models. • Articulate methodology, limitations, and risks to senior audiences. • Conduct structured secondary research across priority domains. • Triangulate findings to build evidence-backed narratives. • Summarize complex reports into concise insights for strategy teams. • Design intuitive charts, dashboards, and visual frameworks. • Create client-ready slides highlighting key messages and recommendations. • Collaborate on storyboarding for strategic narratives. • Deliver strategic and analytical workstreams from planning to final delivery. • Participate in client calls, present findings, and iterate based on feedback. • Identify analytic angles to enhance client decision-making. • Develop reusable data templates and models. • Ensure consistency and accuracy in deliverables. • Mentor junior analysts on best practices. Core Competencies • 3–4 years in data analytics, data science, business analytics, or strategy consulting. • Experience with complex datasets and converting them into useful insights. • Exposure to development/social impact/global health/philanthropy sectors is a plus. • Hypothesis-driven problem-solving orientation. • Ability to manage analytical workstreams independently. • High attention to detail and structured documentation practices. • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. • Ability to work effectively with global teams in a fast-paced environment. • Ability to conduct secondary research and integrate multiple sources. • Excellent written communication skills for client-ready reports and briefs. Required Qualifications • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Public Policy, or related field. • Additional coursework or certification in applied statistics, analytics, or data science is an advantage. • Strong applied statistics skills (regression, trend analysis, variance analysis). • Advanced MS Excel skills (complex formulas, pivot tables, modeling). • Strong PowerPoint skills for building consulting-style decks. • Experience with Power BI/Tableau, R/Python/Stata/SPSS, or SQL is preferred. • Experience with philanthropic foundations, multilaterals, or global development clients. • Exposure to portfolio analytics, monitoring & evaluation, or investment-style analyses. • Experience building reusable analytical frameworks for decision support.
