The position in discussion is with the Tax Data Transformation team at KGS Tax. Team comprised of professionals enabling leadership with analytical insights to drive decisions, to initiate new programs, to monitor program effectiveness and responsible to drive Budget/forecasting projects in coordination with service line leadership. They combine a deep knowledge of enabling change with Automation, process innovation and driving operational excellence. Data Management, Analysis and Visualization: • Create visualizations that communicate insights clearly and support business storytelling. • Support the development and maintenance of dashboards and reports using Power BI to enable data-driven decision-making. • Assist in integrating data from various sources (e.g., Azure, SharePoint, SQL Server, APIs) and perform ETL tasks using Power Query and DAX. • Contribute to designing effective data models and implementing Row-Level Security (RLS) to ensure secure and personalized data access. • Explore opportunities to apply machine learning techniques for predictive insights and anomaly detection, in collaboration with the broader analytics team. • Work closely with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into actionable solutions. Project Management: • Assist the team lead in planning, executing, and monitoring data-driven projects. • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals are met within timelines. Quality Assurance: • Develop and implement data quality control procedures to ensure data accuracy and completeness. • Conduct regular data audits and perform root cause analysis for any data discrepancies. • Work closely with data engineers to maintain and improve data infrastructure. Stakeholder Engagement: • Communicate complex data-related concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. • Act as a liaison between the Data and Analytics Team and other departments to facilitate data-sharing and collaboration. Continuous Improvement: • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data management and analytics. • Propose and implement process improvements to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness. • Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions to foster a culture of continuous learning and growth. Qualifications: • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field. Professional Experience: • The candidate must have 4-6 years of relevant experience in Data analytics, BI solutioning or a related field. Skills: • Proficiency in Power BI and SQL. • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes. • Experience working with PySpark and big data platforms is a plus. • Familiarity with cloud services and basic machine learning tools. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Effective communication and collaboration skills. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
