Senior Analyst – Private Equity (Infrastructure)

Job Summary We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Private Equity (Infrastructure) Senior Analyst to join our Corporate Investment Banking team. The selected candidate will work in financial analysis, industry research, and preparing client deliverables such as pitch books and company profiles for PE projects. Additionally, manage team allocation, quality checks, and training to ensure timely, error-free project execution. Key Responsibilities • Identify and assess potential infrastructure investment opportunities through detailed market and sector research • Perform comprehensive financial analysis, including valuation, financial modeling, and scenario analysis, to evaluate investment attractiveness • Analyze industry trends, competitive landscapes, and regulatory dynamics to support investment decision-making • Evaluate sector and asset business models against the client’s investment strategy and return objectives • Conduct in-depth commercial and business due diligence on target companies, assessing operational performance, financial strength, and growth potential • Develop detailed investment memoranda and due diligence materials, integrating market insights, financial analysis, and risk assessment • Support management and expert interviews to validate investment assumptions and identify key value drivers and risks • Assist in monitoring portfolio company performance through KPI analysis and benchmarking • Identify operational improvement and value creation opportunities in collaboration with senior investment professionals • Support the development and execution of value creation initiatives across portfolio investments. Core Competencies • 2-6 years of experience in PE/M&A, transaction advisory, Leveraged Finance, or valuation • Strong accounting and financial analysis skills • Advanced Excel modeling expertise and high attention to detail • Excellent PowerPoint and communication skills • Ability to work under tight deadlines with confidentiality and professionalism. Required Qualifications • Post Graduation/ MBA in Finance domain/ CFA/CA • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in PE/IB domain • Strong Accounting and financial skills • Good MS Office Skills. • Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills.
