Job Summary: The MLM Senior Analyst will be aligned to one Business Area & LGS Region and is responsible for improving inbound flow from suppliers to Lowe's distribution centers and stores based on analytics that impacts channel selection, inventory placement decisions, supplier ship-point optimization, freight mode selection, freight ownership that is informed by Merchant and Replenishment business parameters and service expectations. Core Responsibilities: • Drive collaboration with Inventory Replenishment & Planning, Assortment Planning, Merchants, Product Development Merchants and Lowe’s Global Sourcing Teams to optimize the Inbound Flow of Products by performing cost sensitivity analysis • Partner with Network Flow, Transportation and DC Operations to secure Capacity requirements for new items/assortments • Proficient in Supply Chain cost analysis and Inventory Management concepts to make data driven product stocking decisions for various Supply Chain strategies & initiatives • Lead and execute high priority Supply Chain projects and initiatives within agreed timelines • Leads and Delivers on adhoc Channel & Flow support across Bangalore & Moorseville office • Mentor, coach and train new hire in the team. • Collaborates closely with Technology and Product Teams to drive improvements in Tools and Systems and actively contributes to UAT activities. Years of Experience: 4-8 years of Experience • 4+ years of experience in Supply Chain Optimization • 4+ years experience of Project management Education Qualification & Certifications: Required Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor’s/master’s degree in engineering / Statistics. • MBA or Master’s degree in Supply Chain would be a plus. Skill Set Required: Primary Skills: • Excellent understanding of Supply Chain concepts • Good Understanding of Inventory Management, Planning, Forecasting & Transportation processes & concepts • Project Management Experience - Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously • Excellent Communication - writing and communication skills, including the ability to develop analytical documents for presentations to Senior Leaders • Strong Stakeholder Management • Strong foundation & understanding of Math/Finance • Advance knowledge in MS Office, Lowe’s Data Platforms, Ability to extract/cleanse Data • Excellent Data interpretation & Problem Solving Secondary Skills: • Scripting Languages like – R /Python/VBA • Microsoft Power Tools – ( Flow, Automate, Apps ) • Power BI.
