Job Description Senior Analyst/Lead - Marine Claims We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Analyst/Lead to join our Marine Claims team in Bangalore/Gurgaon. The successful candidate will have a strong background in marine claims, cargo claims, claims adjuster, and claims adjudication, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment. Location: Bangalore/Gurgaon Responsibilities • Manage and investigate marine claims, including cargo claims, to ensure accurate and timely resolution. • Develop and implement effective claims handling strategies to minimize losses and maximize recoveries. • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including underwriters, brokers, and other claims professionals, to ensure seamless communication and coordination. • Conduct thorough analysis of claims data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and develop recommendations for process enhancements. • Provide training and guidance to junior claims analysts to ensure consistent application of claims handling procedures and best practices. • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging trends in marine claims, and apply this knowledge to inform claims handling decisions. Requirements • 3-10 years of experience in marine claims, cargo claims, claims adjuster, or related field. • Strong knowledge of insurance principles, policies, and procedures, particularly in marine claims. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. • Proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and open communication. • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex data and identify trends and patterns.
