Senior Angular Developer

Role Overview: As a Senior Angular Developer at CGI, you will be responsible for developing scalable and high-performance applications by primarily focusing on front-end coding using Angular. You will collaborate with a team of front-end and backend developers, designers, and other team members to deliver quality solutions to meet client needs. There is also an opportunity for growth into a lead/mentorship role as projects scale. Key Responsibilities: - Build, optimize, and maintain Angular components - Integrate backend APIs and microservices - Support the lead Angular developer to ensure UI delivery continuity - Contribute to code reviews, performance tuning, and best practices Qualifications Required: Must-Have Skills: - Strong proficiency in Angular 14, TypeScript, RxJS/NgRx, HTML5/CSS3, REST APIs - Experience with web services and API development - Experience with MVC 4 - Familiarity with version control systems such as Git - Experience with agile development methodologies and DevOps practices - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills - Strong communication and collaboration skills Nice-to-Have Skills: - Exposure to CouchD/NoSQL databases, microservices, and message queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ/Azure Service Bus) - Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure - Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes - Familiarity with message brokers such as RabbitMQ and Kafka - Familiarity with machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies Education Qualification: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience Additional Company Details: At CGI, life is about ownership, teamwork, respect, and belonging.
