Senior Associate - Delivery Lead (Financial Modelling)

Job purpose We are looking for dedicated and motivated individuals with strong leadership, organizational and teamwork skills for its Private Equity and Private Credit financial modelling team based in Gurgaon. Key responsibilities • Help clients to develop results-driven strategies, which include financial spreading and modelling, critical industry or market analyses, competitive benchmarking and opportunity assessments through in-depth research • Creating comprehensive Investment Memos (IMs) and pitch decks for PE clients • Analyzing Investment Themes / Strategies: Evaluating attractiveness of the overall sector / geography / company focused investment themes and strategies of the fund • Investment Opportunity Identification: Identifying emerging and high-growth sectors for investment assessment through market analysis such as market size, historical and projected growth rates, emerging market trends, key drivers, etc. • Assist clients with complex financial modelling assignments in the Private Equity and Private Credit space, working on a variety of models such as LBO, DCF and Investment models • Perform trading and transaction comparable analyses and financial statements analyses by applying experience in credit research, including debt analysis, covenant monitoring, cash flow conversion, capital structure, debt analysis, etc. • Interact with senior professionals at private equity firms and corporations • Conduct quality checks of client deliverables • Other activities include structuring deliverables/teams and developing efficient processes • Experience in client/requester relationship building and management and information/knowledge needs assessment. Skills and experience • Minimum of 2 years of experience in building financial models from scratch • 4-8 years of experience in quantitative analysis, including financial spreading and modelling, investment memos, pitch decks, trading comps, transactions comps, benchmarking, company profiling, capital structure, debt analysis, etc. • Chartered Financial Analyst, Chartered Accountant or Master of Business Administration from a top-tier business school.
