Responsibilities: This is an opportunity to join a fast-paced global team as part of the Network Operations Finance Centre of Excellence (CoE) team. The CoE team is part of the Global Network Operations function. The team works with Business Finance, Network Finance and Territory finance teams to execute finance tasks on recording and analyzing financial transactions, raising and researching domestic and foreign invoices, maintaining cost center and WBS codes, year end and budget activities. Thorough knowledge of our PwC finance systems and processes and a keen interest in working with and adopting new and emerging technologies is desirable. As a Senior Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to • Act as a central point of contact for all territory finance departments • Actively involved in various month end activities which includes but not limited to booking journal entries, analyzing and acting on accrual needs, variance analysis reporting and balance sheet reconciliations • Play a key role in the build out of forecasts and budgets for the business • Develop new ideas and propose innovative solutions to problems • Use a broad range of tools and techniques to extract insights from current trends in the business area to help drive decision making • Look at ways to improve efficiency through automation and process improvement • Meet and communicate with cross-functional teams to complete assigned reporting tasks accurately and on time effectively • Ad hoc tasks as deemed necessary by Head of the COE team • Ability to work flexible hours Knowledge/Skills Demonstrating industry leader level knowledge of and/or proven record of success in: • Good technical accounting knowledge • Excellent spoken and written communication skills • Excellent customer service skills; Responds to client requests promptly and professionally • Organized with excellent attention to detail • Ability to work independently, learn quickly, and multi-task in a dynamic, fast paced environment • Strong technical skills and proficiency in the Firm's standard suite of work solutions, such as Power BI, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power Automate, SAP, S4/HANA, Alteryx, Business Warehouse, etc. • Ability to effectively communicate with staff at all levels - both verbal and written • Excellent team player who can work in a virtual/global team • Resourceful and creative problem solver with a keen ability to troubleshoot issues, find root cause, and develop solutions • Utilizing the firm's various resources available to meet and maintain digital upskilling initiatives Work experience: Minimum of two years prior experience in a finance related role Mandatory skill sets: • Financial Planning and Analysis Reporting Preferred skill sets: • Financial Statement Analysis Analytical Techniques Years of experience required: 4 years of experience Education qualification: CA Education (if blank, degree and/or field of study not specified) Degrees/Field of Study required: Bachelor of Commerce, Master of Business Administration, Postgraduate (Diploma) Degrees/Field of Study preferred: Certifications (if blank, certifications not specified) Required Skills Financial Accounting Optional Skills Accepting Feedback, Accepting Feedback, Accounting Policies, Accounting Practices, Active Listening, Analytical Thinking, Balance Sheet Analysis, Budgetary Management, Cash Flow Analysis, Communication, Creativity, Embracing Change, Emotional Regulation, Empathy, Escalation Management, Financial Budgeting, Financial Close Process, Financial Data Mining, Financial Forecasting, Financial Management, Financial Policy, Financial Reporting, Financial Statement Analysis, Generating Financial Reports, Inclusion {+ 9 more} Desired Languages (If blank, desired languages not specified) Travel Requirements Available for Work Visa Sponsorship?
