You will be instrumental in designing, developing, testing, and deploying backend services, collaborating closely with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders. The ideal candidate possesses a strong command of Java, extensive experience with microservices architecture, and a passion for building high-performance, reliable software.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend services and APIs using Java and related frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot). Develop and implement robust database solutions, ensuring data integrity and efficient retrieval. Write clean, well-documented, and testable code, adhering to best practices and coding standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, consistency, and adherence to architectural guidelines. Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security. Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems. Contribute to the architectural design and evolution of the backend systems. Work with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Mentor junior developers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence. Stay up-to-date with the latest backend technologies and industry trends. Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in backend development, with a strong focus on Java. Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and other relevant Java ecosystem technologies. Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API design. Solid understanding of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB). Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD pipelines. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Experience with Agile development methodologies. Experience in the IT & Software sector in Bengaluru is highly preferred.
