This role requires a deep understanding of cloud architecture, microservices, and distributed systems. You will work closely with frontend developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers to deliver robust, high-performance solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable backend code. - Develop and implement robust, scalable, and secure APIs for internal and external use. - Architect and develop microservices and distributed systems deployed on cloud platforms. - Collaborate with frontend teams to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. - Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and performance. - Implement security and data protection best practices. - Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure code quality. - Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback. - Contribute to the CI/CD pipeline and infrastructure automation efforts. - Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical decision-making. Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 5+ years of professional experience in backend development. - Strong proficiency in one or more backend languages such as Python, Java, Go, or Node.js. - Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, Kubernetes, Docker). - Proven experience designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices. - Solid understanding of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL, e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis). - Experience with message queuing systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ). - Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices. - Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong aptitude for learning new technologies. - Ability to work independently, communicate effectively, and collaborate within a remote team environment.
